The Pittsburgh Chapter recently held a panel discussion titled “Blueprint for a Successful Project”. The meeting was a follow up from a previous panel discussion that discussed “lessons learned”. The panel included an owner, engineer, contractor, and material supplier (all of whom are ICRI members). Each member shared their thoughts and experiences regarding successful projects, and the moderator integrated questions and comments from the audience. The insights provided were appreciated by all.
ICRI Pittsburgh recently awarded the chapter's $1,500 scholarship to Abby Severyn. The Pittsburgh Chapter is excited to award our initial scholarship to Abby, who is majoring in Architectural Engineering (Structural Option) at Penn State University. She plans to graduate in two years with both a Bachelor and Master Degree of Architectural Engineering, and looks forward to becoming a structural designer for renovation and adaptive reuse projects. Congratulations Abby!
