Please join us at Buford's Kitchen on November 7th as we welcome Monica Rourke to speak to the Pittsburgh Chapter. Monica will provide an overview of chemical grouting used to stop leaks through concrete structures and what to expect from the ICRI concrete repair point of view.
The presentation will cover the following:
- When and how to address leaking cracks
- Longevity of certain repair techniques
- The injection packers/probes/ports and other equipment used to perform this repair work.
Monica Rourke is currently the U.S. Waterproofing and Injection Systems Manager for
Mapei Corporation’s Underground Tunneling Team. She has over 20 years of
experience in concrete waterproofing and leak repair. She has worked as a contractor,
consultant and manufacturer’s representative on new tunneling projects as well as on crack and leak repair of existing concrete structures. Monica is a Fellow of ICRI (International Concrete Repair Institute); 2008 National President, and Past President for 2 terms of the Connecticut Chapter and current board member.
