Cathodic protection of reinforced concrete structures has been around since the early 1980’s. Both impressed current and galvanic systems have been used on numerous bridge structures, parking garages, condominiums, high-rise buildings, etc. Cathodic protection is available in many different forms and the system type should be matched with the structure and its corrosion condition.
Join the ICRI Pittsburgh Chapter for a presentation given by Ali Akbar Sohanghpurwala (President - CONCORR, Inc.) to discuss and examine these systems in detail.
