Topic:

Strengthening projects may utilize traditional materials such as conventional cement-based and steel

materials as well as advanced composite materials (FRP’s) that are commonly used for aerospace

applications. The techniques used to design and install these materials for upgrade applications are

not common to the engineering and general construction industry which can also make strengthening

projects even more challenging and complex than new construction. The presentation will include

methods for evaluating and selecting the appropriate strengthening application, limitations, and

installation best practices.

Speaker:

Mr. Jerrub Hammrich is a Senior Business Development manager for STRUCTURAL Group – the largest

US specialty design/build repair contractor. He has over 15 years of experience in the construction

industry and has spent the last 10 years specializing in the repair and strengthening of concrete

structures. Jerrub brings his industry experience to life with physical case studies in the presentation

on ways to strengthen and repair existing concrete structures.

Cost:

$25.00 Chapter Members,

$30.00 Non-Members (Cash or Check)
